About Library & Reading Room
The Library is situated on the main campus, with the primary library located in campus. , and the reading room can
accommodate around 100 students. It houses a collection of 3,500 books, 14 computers, and 1 projector. The library
is fully automated, utilizing advanced library management software. The Library offers an
intuitive interface for searching library resources, displaying their locations, and availability status. Additionally,
the library provides Web-OPAC access, enabling remote browsing of its extensive collection of texts.
The LIBRARY software is a multilingual, multiuser, and multitasking system that efficiently manages library
operations while helping to minimize overhead costs.

Salient Features of the Library

Library established in 2018 has a large stock of books.
- Wi-Fi connectivity available 24/7.

Library Rules
- Library hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (summer), 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (winter).
- Lunch break: 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM (no entry during lunch hours).
- Library entry requires a library card.
- Book Bank issue for B.Com and BJMC starts after the first half of the day.
- Book Bank books must be returned the day after exams, or a fine of Rs. 10/day will be charged.
- If unable to return books on time due to emergency, inform the class teacher or coordinator.
- Reference & Text Books issued for 10 days (max 2 at a time), reissue allowed after 10 days.
- Library books due after 10 days incur a Rs. 10/day fine.
- Always keep the receipt of the fine payment.
- Damaged books will be fined or replaced with an identical copy.
- If the return date falls on a holiday, return on the next working day without fine.
- No arguments with the librarian are allowed.
- For library issues, contact your class teacher for assistance.
- Cover book bank books with brown paper to keep them clean throughout the semester.
- Lost or damaged books must be replaced or compensated.
- New library cards are issued only after paying a fine for a lost card.
- Students must register upon entering the library.
- Library access is allowed during free or allotted periods only.
- Boys and girls must sit in their designated areas.
- Mobile phones are strictly prohibited; violations result in confiscation for 48 hours.
- Bags should be left in the designated rack; no bags allowed inside.
- Keep valuables at your own risk; the college is not responsible for any loss.
